A few weeks ago, I wrote an article where I was comparing the best hobbyist-friendly e-commerce solutions. One of the platforms I had then decided to test was Gumroad, because it offered the possibility to integrate product pages directly into my Ghost blog while benefiting from their secured payment process.
So I set up a Gumroad account, created my two first products and embedded them into blog posts. In order to isolate the shop from the rest of the blog, I used a specific tag for these posts and I filtered it out so it wouldn't be displayed on the homepage with my other posts. I then created a custom Shop page in my Ghost theme and styled it so it would look a lot like the store page of my newly created Gumroad e-shop.
So now, you can buy the products that I'll publish on Gumroad directly from this blog, like these handmade knitted frogs wearing jumpers :

This cute little frog has been knitted with wool and a lot of love. It isn't wired so you can use it as a softie or give it as a present to children.
So far there are just a few articles but I will soon add some more, and sync Gumroad with Printful so I'll be able to add print-on-demand articles based on my illustrations !
And while I was at it, I also added a search option to my blog. You can access it by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top menu.
